WELCOME TO TOTTONIANS RFC Ltd.

|
Tottonians Rugby Union Football Club has been established for forty-eight years and fields four senior sides every Saturday and
occasionally puts out a casual fifth team. With the introduction of League Rugby, the 1980's and 1990's saw us competing at County level. We gained promotion to LONDON 3 SW from Hampshire 1 in 1999. As a consequence of the RFU's restructuring of the leagues, effective for the start of 2000/2001, we missed the cut and were placed in the new LONDON 4 SW division. We ended the 2002/2003 season as League Champions, having played 18, won 15, lost 3. As a result, 2003/2004 saw us competing in LONDON 3 SW (National Level 7), which was also the season in which we won the Hampshire Worthington Bowl. The 2006/7 season was the most successful in our League history, when we finished in third place (played 22, won 17, lost 5) just one point behind the runners-up. We also had an excellent run in the EDF National Senior Vase, going out in the quarter finals, just one game away from a Twickenham final. 2007/8 was also a good season for us, again finishing third in the League (played 22, won 15, drew 1, lost 6). Last season, we dropped to fifth place (played 22, won 14, drew 0, lost 8,) and our second and third teams did well in the Merit Tables. 2009/10. Due to more re-structuring of the Leagues, although we are still at National Level Seven, the division has been renamed LONDON 2 SW and 2009/10 marks the seventh season that our 1st XV have competed at this level. Our 2nd XV continues its campaign in the Hampshire Senior Merit Table, whilst our 3rd XV moves up into Hampshire Merit One. For the first time in our history, we have a 4th team playing league rugby. Formerly our Veterans' side, this season the team is competing in Hampshire Merit Three. There are only three Clubs in Hampshire that play at a higher level than Tottonians — These are Havant, Portsmouth and Basingstoke, who complete against each other at Level 5. Now in its eighth season, our WOMEN'S SECTION, colloquially called “The Totties”, has been turning out with lots of passion both on and off the pitch, and would welcome more players to strengthen the squad. The Totties are in the RFUW NC SE W2 league. |

Our home pitches are located at the end of Water Lane in Totton, just outside Southampton, Hampshire. Our Clubhouse, opened in 1996, is adjacent to the principal pitch. Now 13 years
old, it has been extended to give more equipment storage at ground level, and a weights room and dining area upstairs. Situated between the River Test and the New Forest, Totton is easily reached by road in 30 minutes or less from nearby Southampton, from Portsmouth and Chichester to the South and East, Bournemouth to the West and Winchester, Salisbury and Andover to the North. Our reputation as an informal, well-organised and friendly Club has steadily grown over the years and we are always keen to welcome new members, regardless of age, skill or gender. |

Sponsorship provides Tottonians with a significant financial input and we are looking for people who are prepared to give up a couple of hours of their time each week to be part of a sponsorship team. The
objective is to find new sponsors and also to keep contact with our existing contributors. |
